Q: What to do if I am involved in a collision:

  1. Stop your vehicle and check to see if anyone is hurt.
  2. Move the vehicle off the road if it is blocking traffic.
  3. Dial 999 and request an ambulance (if necessary) and the Gardaí.
  4. Take note of the other driver's contact and insurance details.
  5. Talk to any witnesses and take their contact details.
  6. Take photographs and/or sketch details if possible.
  7. Call Parc for Advice or Assistance

Q: What should I NOT do if I have an accident:

  1. Do not leave the scene, regardless of how small the damage appears to be. Stay until the Gardaí have assessed the situation.
  2. Don't panic, remain calm and act quickly.
  3. Do NOT attempt to move any injured people.
  4. Do NOT admit liability. If you admit liability you may not be able to claim off your insurance.
  5. Don't agree to let any other drivers involved leave, even if they have given you their details. Wait until the Gardaí have assessed the situation.

What are your opening hours?
Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm

When I drop off my car, how do I get home?
We would be more than happy to drop you home.

Do I need more than one estimate?
No. You are not required to get multiple estimates. Your insurance company is however allowed to make reasonable adjustments to the estimate and must give their approval prior to starting the repair process.

Where do I get a claim number?
Claim numbers are issued by your insurance company at the time you report your accident. Please write it down and bring it in with you as it will speed up the amount of time it will take to process your claim.

How long do I have to wait for parts?
We generally order your vehicle’s parts once the estimate has been agreed with your insurance company and schedule your vehicle for drop-off a couple of days later. We do everything possible to minimize your downtime whenever possible.

If my vehicle’s chassis is damaged is it a total loss?
Your car is a total loss only when the price of repairs exceeds the insurance companies determined value of your vehicle. Our highly skilled technicians are equipped with our Spanesi Touch Frame Measuring System, and top of the line Spanesi Multibench which is outfitted with everything necessary to return your vehicle to its original factory specs.

Can you match the paint colour?
Yes, Parc has made a major investment in obtaining the very best equipment and materials for our paint department. Partnering with Standox coatings, ensures that our refinish technicians have not only the finest equipment, best factory supported training but the best materials available in the industry!

How long will the repairs to my vehicle take?
Your advisor will give you an estimate of the time it will take to complete the repairs to your vehicle at the time of your estimate. We normally schedule drivable cars in on Monday and whenever possible, try to deliver them back to customers by Friday.

How can I get a replacement car?
If you need a replacement car, we can help you make the necessary arrangements. Insurance companies will only pay for a replacement car if you have that option on your policy or if you are a “ 3rd party claimant”. Check your policy and/or call your insurance company to find out if you have replacement car coverage and what your specific limitations are.

How will I know when my car is done?
You will be notified by phone when your vehicle is ready to be picked up. Feel free to call or e-mail your advisor during the repair process if you have questions or concerns.

Is there a warranty on the repairs to my vehicle?
Yes. Repairs are guaranteed for 5 years*; this includes all paint work, replacement parts and work carried out in the reinstatment of your car.   (* please note that standard service items are not included under the terms of our warranty.)

Do I have to pay an Excess?
The amount of Excess that you will be responsible for is determined by your insurance policy and is paid to us on collection of your vehicle. If you aren’t sure about your Excess, call your advisor and he can tell you how much your excess is and if you qualify for a discount.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all insurance checks and drafts, visa, mastercard, and cash, we only accept personal checks accompanied by a current cheque guarantee card.
